I just got done readingBuilding a Smarter Transportation System http://asmarterplanet.com/blog/2009/03/building-a-smarter-transportation-system.htmlPosted by Tim Washer in Smarter Traffic Smarter Transportation It's a valuable posting and I honestly believe that an overhaul of our transportation infrastructure is one large and important facet to building a smarter planet but I honestly believe that our models for transportation must evolve. I think the solution might be in varying models of entreprenurialship… whether it’s transportation or even health care. The French for instance still have Doctors that will make house calls. Why not a traveling heath clinic? Why must we go to and from a place, often times alone and insist on dragging a ton of automobile around with us. I think the answer does not lie with jet packs of the future but in these diverse models.
