I love living up here.  I usually start my day with a two mile walk down the road.  Today, as I came to the stop sign, standing about 25 yards away from me just out of the corn field stood two fawns with their mother.  I was down wind so I startled them.  They raised their heads and watched me as I walked toward them.  Deer are funny because they want to bolt and flee and yet at the same time they are curious as heck.  They stood there.  Their ears spinning like helicopter rotors trying to hear what your up to. I got too close and they lept into the air.  They're white tails bobbing up and down as they dissapeared into the corn.
