Here is something we’re really excited about at CanvasWork. We had a customer ask for a bow cover for a Lund 2010 Explorer Sport Bow Cover to protect the paint on his boat when he trailers it on a Canadian Fishing trip. Evidently the logging trails are pretty rough up there and he needed a soft back material with a rugged protective fabric. He also wanted a cover that extended farther back on the bow than some of the other products that he looked for. We were able to custom pattern his boat and build a cover that snapped into his existing cockpit cover. I think it looks pretty sharp.
We just sent an order of double parking meter bags to one of our Cleveland customers. This is a repeat order and that always makes us proud. Proud because the first order was placed years ago so that demonstrates that our bags are built for the long term AND… that our customer liked our product enough to come back to us. Thanks for your business. Please check out other examples of our work at: http://www.canvaswork.com/products/
Canvaswork has got a wonderful set of bags headed out to the town of Centreville for their farmer’s market. We love doing specialty bags for our customers and our secure pocket innovation is our own special invention. Our clear pockets are accessible from the inside only. This allows our customers to reserve a parking space for their VIP parkers and not have to worry about their message being vandalized or altered. In addition to all the parking meter work CanvasWork is doing we’re also working hard on pontoon and boat covers. As you can see in the photo we have a wonderful cover leaving this morning. I would love to have this pontoon cover sit out side out shop for a couple days to help bring in more business. It looks really sharp and we’re hoping out customer (the mayor of our fair city) thinks so too. To see other examples of our work please visit: http://www.canvaswork.com/products/
CanvasWork just finished a rush order for “free parking” meter bags for PNC. I wasn’t quite sure who PNC was until the morning we were going to ship. I turned on ESPN and watched a press conference for the Pittsburgh Steelers and sure enough… what brand did I see interspersed with theirs behind the podium? Well, it was thrill. We were really happy to be able to match colors for them. For those of you who know fabric you can appreciate how difficult that can be. Isn’t this a beautiful table. I have a friend who is an attourney and is also a great carpenter. I few weeks before the move I had mentioned that part of my dream for my new production area would be a table large enough to accommodate two sewers. When we work on boat lift canopies they tend to take up a huge amount of space. On this 20′ by 12′ table we can work in luxury. Thanks John! It’s a gorgeous. I just fine myself stopping and staring when I’m walking across the shop floor.
As you can see CanvasWork is knee deep in our move. We’re busy sorting inventory and moving boxes. In the back ground our contractor is making a large hole in the east wall. Hopefully our insulated door comes in on Thursday as planned. It’s still April and in Minnesota we could have another month of winter by tomorrow. Look for more updates at our blog:http://www.canvaswork.com/the-blog/
CanvasWork is excited to anounce that we’ve moved our business into a new facility. Well, at least it’s new to us. I’ll be posting more pictures of the production area in the next few days and weeks. We’re really happy to be growing. And we’re especially excited that we will be able to provide prompter service to our customers. Yeah!
CanvasWork just sent out more sign covers for McGregor, Iowa. This is a repeat order and we’re always happy to have a customer come back. Please check out our gallery section of the product page for other graphics we have done:
