I found a great post about thermal solar collectors being used in parking facillities:

I think this is a brilliant idea. Ilove multi-use/multi-purpose strategies when it comes to parking and transportation issues. This is really neat and very close in sentiment to what the Japanese are doing with roof top organic gardening in some of there parking facilities. I think this is the type of green technology that we all need to do. Here at Canvaswork we’ve tried to lessen our carbon footprint and find ways of helping the environment.

Often, Canvaswork has to design either curtains or a specialty cover for a customer. Here is a wonderful example of design genius.

I’d be curious to see how they’ve worked out. I’ also like to see if they were paid for during the Israeli invasion. I did actually get a call from someone there about that same time asking about parking meter bags. If anyone has heard anything I’d like to know.
