This is a loaded topic. People from all over the country are voicing their anger over pay and display machines. I understand that half the time they don’t work and the it’s always a hike to find one. Call me nostalgic but I like the convenience and comfort of having a good ol meter in front of them. Don’t get me wrong, we make covers for parking pay stations…. but I can’t help thinking that with all the different companies out there going in and out of business replacement parts become a huge issue.

parking meter bags for Charlotte, NC

Canvaswork is shipping 30 parking meter hoods to Charlotte, NC. ParkIt is one of our best customers. They are in the third stage of a parking plan. And as you can see by these parking meter bags the directions are very specific. All of these parking meter covers have directional arrows. They are tricky to print because they are printed both sides and in the same direction. We do these from time to time. See our products page for more examples.

Palm Beach parking meter bag

Here is a parking meter bag order we did for the Palm Beach Tennis Club. As you can see it’s a fun logo with text. I like the forest green acrylic. It’s darker and allows the white ink to stand out. This is a perfect example of what we done and can do. No order is too small… and every order is important!

All-Star Game St. Louis

We just completed and shipped a large order of parking meter covers for the All-Star Game. The free parking promotion is being offered by Lumiere Casinos and Hotels and it’s a brillant way to adverstise and generate goodwill for those attending the All-Star Game. We were excited about how these meter bags turned out. In the past we’ve worked with Land Rover, Toyota, Macy’s and GMAC. We hope to do a lot more.

parking meter bag for a double meter… specialty cover

Canvas work just completed a special order for a double parking meter bag. As you can see we worked closely with a client to design a full length cover to dress up the pole the meters are yoked to. It was important to the customer that the bag fit snuggly on the meter and taper with the pole. We used two different colors. The gray acrylic covered the bottom third of the pole and provided something like a “bleed” area referred to in the print industry. The client in this particular case was very concerned about matching colors. We can at canvaswork match pantones from time to time. Often times however we like to use a natural/white color acrylic and work on mixing the inks to match pantones.

Parking Meter Bag

CanvasWork just completed 50 parking meter bags for a distributor in Pennsylvania. Often times we coordinate with graphic designers when an order comes through a design firm or ad agency. Our print area for most of our projects is from 10″ wide to 15″ tall. Given the size of the bag and how it looks on the meter a maximum 10″ by 15″ print is as large as we can go. In this example we were 6″ tall by 7 1/2″ wide.

Water, Snow and Mud… lots of Mud.

This what we see outside our door this spring. Living out here we’re luckier than most. We have a tar road just about 20 yards from the entrance to the driveway. It’s always a running joke at CanvasWork. When spring comes it always comes in melting snow and lots of mud and our tables always seem to have an order of white canvas hoods or white seed pallet covers. My boys really love the mud though.
