Window Coverings

There is a great post at http://eere.typepad.com/energysavers/2008/10/get-your-window.html#trackback on how to cover your windows for winter. One of the benefits of heat seaming vinyl is that I was able to make my own window coverings. I basically made a frame to the outside size of the windows and then welded enough clear heavy gauge vinyl togethter to staple to the backside of the frame. I painted the frame before doing this and they turned out really nice.
