I just got done reading  “Settlement in West Side Suit Puts Lid on Future Parking”  at:

and it’s my firm belief that contract/garage parking in NYC should come at a greater premium with those revenues dedicated to improved mass transit systems.  I also believe that there should be greater emission standards and fuel standards that cars must be checked off on to enter the Island.  I even believe that percentage of taxis must become hybrid too.  I know how regressive this type of taxation can be but everything follows a Gotham model as transportation moves forward in this country.
